Im so upset! I have just had my lissie doll for a year this past Wednsday and her legs have gotten so loose that she can barely sit up streight! Does anyone know of a way I can fix her myself, if not then do you know the prices for sending a doll to the doll hospital to get her limbs tightened (her arms are pretty bad too)
I would really appriciate the help. Thanks!

I think Taffy Cheerful does restringing. She also has a website describing how to do it, but I decided immediately to let someone else!

My Felicity has always had that problem. She dates back to 1993 and her body is very soft and cuddly. I think that means her joints can get loose -- so it's a choice of cuddling and buying a doll stand or getting the legs restrung somewhere. I chose a doll stand.

Try the justmagicdolls.com site, or you can PM me!
But unless you get back to me within the hour, I'll be incommunicado until late Sunday night, or Monday, depending on how exhausted we are when I get home!

My Cynthia Daiiane is in the AG hospital now for tightening up. It cost $20 and $5.95 for them toship her back to me as I dropped her off at AGPC. I will post when she and Skylar with a new head returns.

Thanks prasnlrd for letting us know the price the Hospital charges for re-stringing.
My Felicity always had loose legs and can barely stand by herself unless she is leaning against something. But we manage. Her legs are loose, but not $20 loose, so we will wait until they worsen before sending her in.

it seems like the lissie dolls get loose alot quicker then any other doll. I have four, 2 I want to restring so that I can sell them, and they are all loose limbed.
